Just Thinking!

It's been way too long since I've been here!  Sorry about that.  I've been writing but also rethinking my story lines.  I've also been reading a great deal.  Thinking I would like to put up some reviews for other erotic authors who I find a lot of fun to read.  My newest release "Octavia's Choice" is available on Siren Publishing.  It's a paranormal - contemporary - erotic story that follows Octavia from my first book of the series "Octavia's Time".   Both kept me up late into the night and have a lot of hot sex!  Is there any other kind?  Of course, Octavia does find her way to the man who she loves, but there are a few twist and turns before she gets to where she knows she belongs.  More blogs coming!  Enjoy.

Hello to All and to All a Sweet Night

A sweet night is always something to wish for...whether it means you slept well or it was delicious in ways that far out weight candy and things that are nice!   Being a writer of erotic romance, I find myself playing out warm and wonderful scenes when I least expect it.  Many times I have to catch myself and pull myself back to reality.  Fantasy can be so much fun and it also relieves tension. The holidays are upon us and something that I find is absolutely essential is to be able to escape...whether in a book or movie or TV show...or whatever hobby you may have....don't let the shopping and all the madness get to you.  It is so important to take time for yourself even if you can only find a 1/2 hour to listen to music and let your mind wander.  It those people who never find their way out of the whirlwind that find the holidays overwhelming and want to scream.  Dont' be pushed around by others...do what you need to do for your own mental health...in the long rung everyone benefits.  I especially find it important to snuggle and hug.  May you enjoy your holidays!

Submission of Innocence is a very erotic story. There is deceit, betrayal, hot sex, misunderstandings and more hot sex. Alexis’s girlfriends have only her best interests at heart, even though it doesn’t seem that way to her. After a night of fun with the girls leaves her feeling unsure of her current relationship, she must decide if what she thought she needed was still what she wanted.
Jackson falls for Alexis’s innocence, but little does he realize it is not an act. When she tries to break free of the hold he has on her he doesn’t realize that she also has a hold on him and his heart. Although it’s not a long story, Natalie Rosewood manages to cover a lot of ground with the two main characters.
The minor characters actually play a huge part in the outcome of the story even though their roles are small. One minor character in particular has a huge impact on Alexis. Her jealousy is understandable, but it only hurts her in the end.
This story has a great twist to the typical guy meets girl scenario. I could feel Alexis’s confusion, lust and frustration with her situation. Jackson comes across as an arrogant ass, but there is so much more to his façade. When the two of them get together, the fireworks explode in good ways and bad.

Into the Night

For some reason, I seem to write better and longer at night...possibly because that is when I'm truly alone and have the time...but it is more than that...there's something about the night sky, the moon, and the stars that empower me to dream...to think in ways that the daylight hours inhibit.  I love to night dream as I look at the page that fills with thoughts that keep me writing more and more.  Writing erotica is something that I enjoy more and more...the more I write...the more I want to write.  The romance of course is always there...it has to be or it wouldn't be erotica...a story that needs to be told in a way that captures your heart as well as giving your libido a boost.  I'm now working on my 4th and 5th book.  With each book I've published, I've learned so much...Siren Publishing has been great and so supportive.  I highly recommend them to any author out there who loves to write erotica.  May your dreams find there way to the pages and into your readers hearts.

Thinking About Erotica

Today is a rainy day but a good day to catch  up!  I'm writing like crazy and trying to do edits at the same time...not so bad when you are doing something you really love.  Octavia's Time is out there and it's nice to see that people are enjoying it.  Thanks for all the positive feedback.  I'm still working on Octavia's Choice.  It should be ready soon.  I really do like this series.  I wish I were Klawinken!

As an author of Erotica, I find myself thinking about it all the time....not all the time...but a lot of the time..in reference to my stories and how to make them even hotter.  I do read other authors, however, I don't want to mimic their style...I like my own...it's just that I find the more stories you write, the more you realize you need to widen your horizons when it comes to the act of love making.  You don't want to say it the same old way that sounded pretty good in the beginning....not repeating....I think that's what all authors must strive for - and that's what I'm working on....so, I think about it a lot! 

Been Away Too Long

I can't believe it's been since June and I'm only now getting back to my blog.  A lot has happend.  "Octavia's Time", the first of my Klawinken series is on sale beginning October 18th with Siren Publishing.  My next story is due to be published on November 18th with Siren and it is called "Hard to Resist".  I think "Hard to Resist" is my favorite right now.  I am halfway through "Octavia's Chocie" a follow-up to "Octavia's Time".  So, with writing and edits and writing and edits, life has been a bit hectic and then of course there's my regular job.

Everything is good and I can't complain.  I'm still Twittering too.  Love Twitter...it's quick...and fun!  I'm also still doing Facebook but just haven't been on it as much.
