Finally

Well, I did it.  I finished "Hard to Resist".  It wasn't all that difficult, what I mean by finally....is that I found the time over the busy weekend.  Luckily, I'm a night owl and that was what helped me find the time.  Now, I have to go back, read it over again and make my edits.  Once done, I should be about ready to submit.  I'll read a few more times and then have a friend proof for me.  I'm anxious to get moving on my next story.  I have many ideas and one in particular that keeps coming back to me.  Well, I hope everyone had a nice weekend and that you're ready for the week ahead.  This new story is going to require some fun research...I'll be posting some fun and erotic information.

Time for Writing

I love to write but sometimes I put up road blocks that keep me from what I love doing most.  Now, why is that, I wonder?  Whatever the reason, I find it quite frustrating when everything keeps getting in my way.  Well, I'm writing this blog and then I'm writing and writing and writing.  "Hard To Resist" should be completed this weekend.  That is my goal and I plan to accomplish it.  I was noticing that on Siren Publishing some of their authors publish  more than one book a month and some more than that.  Wow!  They are on quite a roll.  I wish I could write full time.....that would be so great.  Maybe...someday.  In the meantime, I need to get my second book out there and then my third, and then my fourth and so on and so on....   Here's hoping you all have a great weekend.  I think I'm going to start writing my blogs about some of my research into the erotic pleasures that I so love to write about.....might make for some mighty hot blogs!

IDEAS

I was sitting outside on my patio just looking at nothing when a number of ideas for stories just popped into my head.  One being about three or four women who work together in a dull insurance company but at a happy hour begin to get to know each other better.  I was thinking of calling it "Friday Night with the Girls".  It could be so much fun and a great way to explore women's feelings for each other in friendship and sexual exploration.  However, the main character is actually a heterosexual who finds her curiosity with the same sex does nothing to detract from her passion with a man, but does everything to enhance it.  Okay....that was one idea.    The ideas just keep on coming, which is great, but I still have to put the finishing touches on "Hard to Resist".  I would really like to have this to the publisher for review by the end of this month at the latest.  I hope you've read "Submission of Innocence" and will let me know your thoughts.  I am always open to hearing what people think about my work!

I'm Back!

Things have been busy but all is good.  I'm back on my blog again.  The release of "Submission of Innocence" is tomorrow!  April 20th!  I'm really excited.  I got my final edits and proofing late last week - not too bad.  I think it's ready to go!  Now, I'm still working on the ending of "Hard To Resist", but I think I should be done within the week - I just need a few hours of uninterrupted time - and we all know how hard that can be to find!  Anyway, I did write a rather short story about the Klawinken's...it's more on the paranormal side.  I've always loved science fiction and tales of ghosts and vampires and such things.  This is a bit different and about a young woman named Octavia.  I could see this being a series of short stories.  Well, I took the plunge and sent it to Harlequin Spice Briefs.  I didnt' get an email acknowledging receipt, but from what I hear that's normal.  Anyway, I think I'll just keep writing more short stories to go along with it  - I do think it's that good.  I loved writing it and Octavia and her Mathieu were easy to get excited about.  I'm thinking her sister Evenela might be the subject of the next short or possibly another....I have so many ideas.

Can't Sleep

I just can't sleep.  I hate it when that happens, especially when I have to get up early the next morning.  Well, I guess I should say this morning at this point.  I'm having a couple pieces of toast and hopefully that will do the trick.  I've been thinking about the end of "Hard to Resist".  I'm changing it.  A better idea for an ending - a bit sad but nevertheless a "happy ending".  But now, I need my rest.  Just thought I would write a bit here.  It always makes me feel better.  Good night to all.

A Beautiful Day

Even though it was still overcast, it was a beautiful day.  I am getting close to the end of "Hard to Resist".  I'm already beginning "Never Say Never".  It's going to be a bit dark, flirting with a world that includes dark art and desires that will make Katherine's and Mathieu's attraction one that feeds their inner most wants and needs and yet borders on the forbidden.  The story is still mostly in my head but it is aching to be told.  I do love to write!
