Writing about an Orgasm

Writing about an orgasmic experience should lift your reader off their sofa, chair, bed, or whatever they happen to be sitting on or laying on or even possibly standing on.  The words used and the way they are applied should make the reader feel what you're feeling when you write those words.  Now, I'm not suggesting or saying that everyone actually has an orgasm when they read about it....I'm just saying they should want to jump their partner in the near future or look for their electronically charged Mr. Happy for a happy ending.  Words are food for the mind and I like to think erotic romance authors cater to their readers with scrumptious delights that keep them coming back for more.  Eroticism is wonderful and natural.  It should never be looked upon as something to be ashamed of....but as part of the wondrous life we've been given.  I'd much rather write an erotic romance than a book about death and sadness.  And always.....an erotic romance has a happy ending...exactly the way we want to live our own lives.
