Rainy

Today is a rainy day but I did receive my blurbs for "Submission of Innocence" back with some minor revisions.  I love receiving email from Siren - it's always great to hear from your publisher.  So far, I have been very impressed with Siren.  Everything is going along like clockwork.  They did a great job editing and just keeping everything moving along.  I'm now getting back into my second book, "Hard to Resist".  I love writing it and I'm getting close to a finished product.  I already have my third book in mind, been going over a few different scenerios in my head.  I know I want it to be dark, intense, and seductive.  I'm getting excited just thinking about it.  Rainy days are my kind of days - not that I don't like the sun - but I just love the sound of rain and smell of the wet earth through an open window near my computer....where I keep typing  and typing.....*smiles*

In The Early Morning Hours

It seems that I sometimes do my best work in the early hours of the morning.  It's quiet and allows me to focus uninterrupted. It is especially a good time to make my publishers edits.  Making edits is not the most glamorous part of being an author but certainly a necessity.  When you write a book, you think it's perfect and then you find out it is far from that and you begin the work that is required to bring your story to the reader in the form that you know is what will make your story one they will never forget.  Well, I guess you know that I've been editing as of late and have found that my Editor is truly my best friend in this process of writing.  I'm so anxious for the publication of Submission of Innocence....I'm on pins and needles to share it with all of you.  Soon.....May.....just can't get here fast enough!  Talk to you soon.

Hello from Natalie

Hello to you all!  Writing a blog is already exciting and fun!  Just knowing that I will be sharing my thoughts with others of like minds is refreshing.  I love romance and especially erotic romance.  In Submission of Innocence,  my hero. Jackson Craig, is exactly the type of man that Alexis Stevens needs desperately in her life.  She's ready to settle for a life that offers comfort and security without the passion she doesn't even realize she craves.  It is only when her girlfriends open her eyes to a world that includes a handsome stranger who arouses her in ways she never thought possible, that she questions all that she has known.  When he brings her into his bed again, she knows the dangers, however, she submits herself further into his world, a world that threatens to extinguish one woman only to create another who will do all that he desires and more.

That, my friends, was a fun book to write.
